ADVANCED SEARCH
The Power Search Option allows you to customize your search. 
 
  • On the Main Menu Page, press the Power Search Button  which is located below the text box and  Author, Title, Subject Search Options.
  • to reach  the  screen(s) below:
    		•  Use it for the following:
    • Boolean Searching,(combining terms from different categories, etc.)
    • Sorting results by date, title, author, etc.
    • Limiting results to a particular language
      • Limiting results to a particular format, such as videotapes, slides, 

     

    TOP HALF of COMPLEX SEARCH  ( See Boolean Operators  for examples)
    Advanced Searching lets you combine various words, phrases and searches.

    BOTTOM HALF OF COMPLEX SEARCH   (Search Limiting, Sorting)

    Values in this half of Complex search are also modified by clicking on the arrows and selecting options from a pop- up menu. Here, you can choose language, format, publication year, etc.
