CONTENT: Computer Architecture .Describe current and emerging computer architecture; configure, install, and upgrade hardware systems; and diagnose and repair hardware problems.
Write compositions with a clear focus, developing the composition with logically related ideas.. Interpret data in the light of experimental findings and appropriate scientific and technological knowledge and understanding.
PERFORMANCE: Students will make a a drawing of a computer and it's parts. they will explain he function of each piece. Students will draw a schematic of the internal components of their computer part, paying attention to location and connections. They will disassemble the components, and then finally, reassemble the computer correctly.

CONTENT: Problem solving using networking and communications systems.. Use, select, evaluate, install, customize, plan, design, and diagnose and solve problems with communications and networking systems. Write compositions with a clear focus, developing the composition with logically related ideas. Explore, identify, analyze, and extend patterns in mathematical and real world situations. Articulate and represent number and date relationships using  words, tables, graphs and rules. Discover and use patterns and functions to solve problems.
PERFORMANCE: Students will create a word processed document or guidebook,  which contains an itinerary for a flight, a hotel, and transportation for a stay in another part of the country. Included in this document should be itemized costs for each component, including rental car as well as total weekly cost figures for the entire trip.
